I have worked with children, teens, and adults in a therapeutic fashion for most of my adult life.  Experiencing safe, nurturing relationships and clear, loving boundaries during every stage of life is critical to giving and receiving love in healthy ways and adapting to the changes that come with each stage of the life cycle.

I have specific training in trauma, attachment and dialectical approaches. I am certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), an evidence-based approach that works well for mood disorders, conduct disorders, PTSD, borderline personality disorder and trauma.  I devote many hours each week to reading, skills development, and professional collaboration in order to stay current with evidenced-based practices and research, reflect on my own skills, and grow personally and professionally. This is what my clients deserve.

I have worked successfully with clients experiencing problems related to:
  • Adulting
  • Anger
  • Anxiety
  • Autism spectrum disorder: social skills; dating/relationship skills
  • Bi-cultural, multicultural, and immigration issues
  • Boundaries
  • Bordering Personality Disorder
